my passion started when i was 9 and my mother gave me her 1968 olds f-85. since then i have owned several 69 cutlass and 442 models. 3 1968 cutlasses. my 68 was stolen while i was deployed in 1987 for a 6 month med cruise. still looking for it. i have owned 3 vista cruisers a 68 and 69 400 4 spd posi rear vistas. a 1972 vista.. a 84 hurst olds. sadly my youth and heavy foot insurance was more than the payments. so it was sold. i have owned over 12 1977 cutlass supreme s.. currently i have a 1976 y76 purchased from Joe varley in az. a 1977 y76 found in a junk yard in nj. two 1969 cutlass s cars one is sporting Vinny's old 510 from his 68 H/O that car is transforming into a 1969 H/O clone . karl sup sold me some parts and i had some from swap meets. currently its awaiting paint. the frame was removed blasted and painted. inside and out. ss fuel and brake lines Polly bushings. up graded sway bars. new springs and shocks. 3.31:1 Canadian Chevy 12 bolt. new center section. the other 69 is just a cutlass s.
i am ase certified but after working in garages on cars and trucks. i now work for cooper power systems on generators.. still miss the flight deck and the A6E Intruders and engines. i have a car trailer with a winch an have no problem helping a member moving his or her car. or tinkering under the hood . luckily the wife enjoys the hobby and my collection of parts. sorry for the long intro. have a great and blessed day
